Payhip Plus vs Pro break-even

Plus is $29/mo with a 2% platform fee. Pro is $99/mo with 0%. Both still pass Stripe or PayPal through. Here is when the higher plan pays for itself on platform fees alone.

What each plan takes per sale

Plus: $29 each month, then 2% of item price plus shipping to Payhip, plus processor fees.

Pro: $99 each month, then 0% to Payhip, plus the same processor pass-through.

Free ($0/mo, 5%) is in the calculator too if you are not on a paid plan yet. This page focuses on the Plus vs Pro jump.

Break-even on platform fees

Pro costs $70 more per month than Plus ($99 - $29). Pro removes the 2% platform fee. You recover that $70 when 2% of your monthly sales (item + shipping) equals $70.

Break-even volume: about $3,500 / month in price + shipping on Payhip.

Below that, Plus usually leaves more after the monthly charge. Above that, Pro’s 0% platform fee starts to win on the platform line alone. Processor fees are roughly the same on both plans, so they cancel out of the Plus vs Pro choice.

One-sale keep vs monthly plan. The calculator shows keep on a single sale and lists the monthly plan price under each Payhip column. It does not subtract $29 or $99 from that one-sale keep. Use the break-even volume above for the plan decision.

Other reasons to pick a plan

Feature limits, seats, and support can matter as much as the fee math. Run the volume break-even first, then check Payhip’s current plan page for non-fee differences before you upgrade.
